Street Outreach Committee

The Street Outreach Committee supports, coordinates, and enhances efforts to engage households and individuals experiencing unsheltered homelessness in the Wake CoC.

In collaboration with outreach teams and service providers, the Street Outreach Committee identifies challenges, recommends system-wide improvements, and advises the Wake CoC Governing Board and full CoC Membership on policies and best practices to enhance engagement and service delivery. The Street Outreach Committee plans, coordinates, and oversees the Wake CoC’s annual Point in Time Count in compliance with 24 CFR 578.7(c)(2).

The Street Outreach Committee shall submit an Annual Work Plan to the Wake CoC Governing Board no later than December 31st of each year.
