The Wake CoC is calling for applications for the Governance Board.
Seats available for application:
- City of Raleigh ESG Entitlement (Permanent Seat)
- Raleigh Housing Authority (Permanent Seat)
- Lived Experience
- Population Specific Lived Experience
- Emergency Shelter
- Prevention, Street Outreach, or Diversion
- Faith-based
- Workforce Development
- Landlord/Affordable Housing Developer
- Legal Expertise or Systemic Advocacy
- Law Enforcement
- Wake County Public Schools or Higher Education
- Rapid Rehousing or Permanent Supportive Housing Provider
- Business Representative
- Representative from local court system managing AOT and/or other civil commitment; or from specialty courts (e.g., Mental Health Court, Drug Court, Care Court.)

The Governance Board is the policy-setting and decision-making body for the CoC. The Wake CoC Governing Board is responsible for planning and coordinating the use of resources and evaluating the results on behalf of the Wake CoC. The Wake CoC Governing Board is empowered to create Committees and Workgroups to assist in carrying out its duties and responsibilities. The Wake CoC Governing Board will consider recommendations from its Committees and Workgroups in developing and implementing policies and practices that meet the needs of residents within the Wake CoC community.
