Wake CoC Membership Meeting

The Wake CoC Governance Board cordially invites you to the first meeting of the full CoC Membership! Our May 10th meeting will be held from 2:00-3:30 P.M.

Did you know that our homeless response system’s performance is directly tied to our ability to apply for more funding? This meeting will be both presentation and break-out groups to define system and program outcome targets. Come prepared to voice your ideas on how to improve our homeless response system’s performance!

The CoC Membership meetings will be held monthly on the 2nd Monday of each month. Meetings are open to the public. This is a great opportunity to deepen your involvement in Wake’s homeless response system.

The Wake County Continuum of Care (CoC) membership is composed of organizations and unaffiliated individuals who wish to work collaboratively to end homelessness and alleviate its hardships. The CoC is organized to carry out the responsibilities required by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

The CoC aims to develop an inclusive, diverse, and engaged group of members who are committed to:

  • Engaging the community to address underlying causes,
  • Providing prompt and straight-forward access to a coordinated crisis response system that works to divert households at-imminent risk of homelessness and quickly rehouse households experiencing literal homelessness,
  • Expanding, sustaining, and developing new affordable housing options and supports to meet the changing circumstances of homeless individuals and families.
