City of Raleigh CDBG-CV3 Update and Listening Session
Please join City of Raleigh Housing & Neighborhoods Community Development staff for a virtual listening session about available Community Development Block Grant (CDBG-CV3) funding from the City of Raleigh. City staff will discuss activities these funds can be spent on, how these funds will be made available, and unmet needs in the community these funds can address.
Under the CARES Act of 2020, the City of Raleigh received $2,672,436 in supplemental federal CDBG-CV3 funds to help prevent, prepare for, and respond to the COVID-19 Pandemic. These funds will be made available through a competitive Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) process.
Funding will be awarded to nonprofits for public services to low- and moderate-income households and/or for emergency shelter renovation and expansion. Funding proposals should focus on services for low-income residents experiencing housing challenges, hunger, loss of wages or work, or other issues related to COVID-19.
