NOTICE OF LOCAL COMPETITION: As of June 15, 2026, the Wake CoC (NC 507) is soliciting agencies to submit new, renewal, expansion, DV bonus, and CoC Bonus project applications for the local competition under the HUD NOFO.

As of June 1, 2026, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development posted the FY26 Continuum of Care Program Notice of Funding Opportunity. The Collaborative Applicant posted an Intent to Apply from May 29th to June 5th.

The NC 507 Wake County Continuum of Care (CoC) is charged by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to submit a community-wide application for homeless assistance funds.
FY 2026 HUD CoC Program Competition Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is published and can be accessed above and at CoC Program Competition page.
The Department of Housing and Development (HUD) has not yet released the funding amount available for each CoC under the FY 2026 CoC Competition. For reference, the Wake CoC Collaborative Applicant will use the FY25 Annual Renewal Demand (ARD) in the mean time. The amount of funding is subject to change based on HUD’s release of the FY2026 ARD.
As of November 14, 2025, The NC 507 Wake County Continuum of Care’s estimated Annual Renewal Demand (ARD) was: $5,856,357, with Tier 1 defined as 60% of the ARD ($3,513,814). Additional bonus funding is also available. The estimated Domestic Violence (DV) Bonus is: $609,673 and the estimated CoC Bonus is: $1,219,346. This is available to create one or more new project applications. New projects created through bonus funding must meet the project eligibility and project quality threshold requirements established by HUD. For the annual Planning grant, $304,836 is available to the Wake CoC. The Wake CoC (NC 507) is soliciting agencies to submit new, renewal, expansion, DV bonus, and CoC Bonus project applications for the local competition under the HUD NOFO. All project applications and supplementary materials are due no later than Friday, July 10, 2026, at 11:59 PM (subject to change depending upon when e-snaps opens registration). Application and materials to be compressed into a .zip file and uploaded to the Smartsheets Submission Form (linked here).

Arrangements will be made to provide technical assistance or review of any or all parts of Wake’s CoC (NC 507) application process, details, and obligations in a manner that is effective for persons with disabilities or any person with Limited English Proficiency (LEP).
