NOTICE OF LOCAL COMPETITION: As of July 2, 2026, the Wake CoC (NC 507) is soliciting agencies to project applications for the local competition under the HUD CoC Builds NOFO.

As of June 23, 2026, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development posted the FY24 Continuum of Care Builds Notice of Funding Opportunity.

The NC 507 Wake County Continuum of Care (CoC) is charged by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to submit a Priority Listing for new construction, acquisition, or rehabilitation (capital costs) of new permanent supportive housing (PSH) units.
FY 2024 HUD CoC Builds Competition Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is published and can be accessed above and at CoC Program Competition page.
The Wake CoC (NC 507) is soliciting agencies to submit project applications for the local competition under the CoC Builds NOFO. All project applications and supplementary materials are due no later than Friday, July 14, 2026, at 11:59 PM.
Materials
Arrangements will be made to provide technical assistance or review of any or all parts of Wake’s CoC (NC 507) application process, details, and obligations in a manner that is effective for persons with disabilities or any person with Limited English Proficiency (LEP).

Each year the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) releases a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) which outlines the requirements and deadlines of the Continuum of Care Builds competition.
